Chase Preapproval question concerning CSP

I requested an increase last week on the website and I received a 7 - 10 day message.

Yeah 7-10 with Synch is a no.

I'd suggest calling Credit Solutions and you'll have an answer within 2-3 minutes on a SP CLI on Lowe's.  There are a couple of numbers for them here, you can try both the domestic number and the over seas one.

I called credit solutions last month and the guy told me that my credit report dosent justify a limit increase.

I had nearly a 90% utilization on Lowes at that point.

Its paid off now, except for the $57.00 that I charged yesterday for reporting reasons.

I have an excellent credit file , everything is pristine !

I guess him seeing my card maxed out the last time I asked for an increase turned him off to me !

Each situation is different but when I was approved for a CSP, I only had one 5K card and it was from Amex. I had that Amex for 4 months (only reporting for 2 months) before i was approved for the CSP. I believe I had a prequal and my profile was clean.

Good news for me !

I checked my Lowes online account a little after midnight and the $57.00 purchase has posted.

Lowes is expected to cut a statement today which will include the $57.00 purchase, giving me a
1.44 % utilization on my credit cards.

I am in hopes that this will give the little extra boost that I need to push me overy the top with Chase as far as my SL.

What do you guys think ?

Is 1.44 % a good util for what I am trying to do and
Is it just about the best percentage that I could possibly have posted to get the best score ?

Just  yes and wanted to know if you applied for the Chase Sapphire reserve card and if there were any results please keep us posted and let us know .
