@Anonymous wrote:I applied about 3 weeks ago and received the same we need more time to review your app. I called the status line last night for the first time and it said I was approved with a SL of $10k and should receive the card in 7-10 days. I was convinced it was going to be a denial. Hang in there OP and let it run its course. I have 8 new accounts showing on my reports and about 10 inquiries.
What CRA's did they pull? EX / EQ / TU ?
@Anonymous wrote:Weirdest thing....no hard pulls from Chase recorded yet, just pulled all three 3 reports myself?
If you really want the card, unlock EQ so that there are no delays. Remember what CRA is pulled during a credit application is based on your location / state.

Yes agreed..Most likely they will want EQ.. They want EQ on all my applications(EQ for me for the Ritz approval) and usually Experian as well.. You can't get around with chase and force then to say pulll TU as they don't play that game... Most likely they want EQ and also EXP. Your EQ score at 699 will be enough to get approved for this card.
Well unlocked it, but wasnt worried about them pulling it anyways...guess we'll see what happens.

This is the weirdest application I've ever had...still no hard pulls on EX, EQ or TU.... Message still says 2 weeks.

How long after your app did they pull? I'm curious because they still haven't pulled any of the three and it's 3 days.

I am guessing a letter is in the mail asking for you to unfeeze EQ.. Should get it sometime this week. How you proceed if that that case I am not sure how to answer cause you will have to call them and tell them that it is unfroozen so they can pull and then you will be talking to most likely UW (which you don't want to do). You might have have to wait 30 days from your original application date with all CRA's unfroozen to avoid talking to anyone from Chase and increase your chances. This is my take what is going on and how I would approach it if what I stated above is true and your receive the letter about unfreezing EQ and to then give them a call (I have received letters from Chase like this before).. Others might have different thoughts on this, but probably what is going on.

I'm going to guess that you are right...I'll wait this week and see if I get a letter from Chase and how quickly the Comenity accounts update as closed. If the timing works out I'll call them and tell them it's unfrozen.

You must have a patience of a saint. If I were you, I'd just see call and check in to see if anything "else is needed to finish the processing of your application". Here you are just fishing for info if you know what I mean...
But it is up to you of course..
