Chase kind of hates to be the first at anything other than being the first card out of your wallet and the first to get a payment on payday
but you already have a few cards at or near the CSP's $5K mininum starting limit. The CSR has a $10K mininum starting limit.
Longer term, with the CSP you can request limit imcreases (now only a soft pull) and after 12 months you can request a product change to a CSR if you so choose.
Thank you for all the insight. I will certainly apply for CSP and request limit increases until after a year and maybe request a product change. I was also thinking of applying for the Bilt Mastercard. Should I do that after the CSP?
I certainly wish you all the luck in whatever you decide to do. JMO, given all of the news lately, banks tightening lending, economic uncertainty abound, I don't think I would be trying a spree of sorts. High income or not, I would think that would draw yourself a lot of attention. Whatever road you take, I wish you luck. But, I'd be taking a much slower road to achieve my goals in today's economy.
Hey everyone just wanted to give everyone an update with some DPs for this.
I went into the branch this afternoon and applied for the CSP and was approved with an SL of $7200.
Here are my scores after I paid down all my cards. Total Utilization is at 8%.
Experian: 765
Transunion: 777
Equifax: 777
