Got a pre-approved offer in my email for the Chase Sapphire Preferred for the 100,000 point bonus which definitely IS a big deal! A big enough deal for me to pull the trigger and put other card plans on hold. I'm like 7/24 though and I'm paranoid that I will get denied because of that. The offer expires on the 15th. I had already planned on getting another chase card to eventually combine with my freedom flex with it's baby limit. What should I do is this an auto denial waiting to happen due to 5/24 rule?
To be clear it is an actual pre-approved offer that is also still in my chase app as well. In the app says you're already approved.
Apply.

This. It isn't a slam-dunk but Chase-extended preapprovals have a track record of overriding 5/24.
Any of you guys got any experience with this situation? Any data points?
Yes, two approvals.

Yes. If it says you're already approved, your chances are super.

Should I take it even though I got about 3 months left of discover it miles cashback match? It has told me once before that I'm approved for their cards so I'm wondering if this offer will pop up again in the future?
Whether or not you got another preapproval down the road would depend on what your credit profile looked like at the time and what their current marketing stategy is. Right now they're aggressively looking for new cardholders as evidenced by the 100,000 UR SUB.
Bird in the hand.
The other thought is if whether you will be able to meet the spend requirement organically and PIF, because if you can't it dilutes the net value of the SUB due to the interest.
I just saw your thread in Applications that you had applied for a WF card yesterday.
Unknown how much of an impact that inquiry you took on EX would have on your odds, as that is a relevant shift in your credit profile from when Chase looked at it and decided to extend the preapproval.
I didnt apply for the wells fargo yet that must've been somebody else. But I did apply for a car loan so there is an inquiry. How much is the reserve SUB usually?
