Not much to really dispute except for that date I guess. Its not like I have any just reason for the charge off to be removed.
Thanks for all your help @sjt. Very informational.
The last payment date is an error and needs to reflect the true date and needs to be corrected. Who knows there could be other errors on their "corrections'
Keep us posted on what Chase has to say.
Chase is really messing up my credit report!
The didnt add a "date closed" to my EQ report, so it is reporting it as a new charged off account and dropped my score 90 points. Do I just call chase and see if they can fix it? Or dispute the information with the reporting agency.
My TU still has the correct date, so it only dropped 20.
Actually, I just purchases a new report to figure out whats going on. Take a look. Looks like now that they added the account back, everything is reported as new!

Contact Chase and tell them while they were suppose to internally post the payment you made earlier this year to your account, they made another error by reporting to the CRA that the paymet was made 12.01.16. Call the department your spoke with earlier about the payment issue.
I did. They said I have to wait 10 days for their system to "confirm the paymet"
Its their standard protocol to wait 10 days.
Wasnt that the original conversation you had with them about your payment. The CRA posting is another situation that you need to inform them about . The paymnet posting date is incorrect and messing up your score and they need to correct this.
I have no idea what they did. Doesnt sound like they do either.
However, I have copies of the most recent report with the Charge Off that was re-added, when it was removed, and now when it was originally reported as a paid-charge off from months ago.
Luckily, I applied and was approved for a morgage earlier this year. The local bank i got the loan through has my old credit report that shows the correct dates. They said I can come pick it up tomorrow.
I guess if they dont figure it out after I call on day 10, im either going to contest the reports with the EX, TY, and EQ or talk to someone in a higher pay grade.
You should call them now and tell what happened and they made CRA reporting error.
I already called them today. They refuse to update my CR until my CO payment is confirmed in their system. That takes 10 days from when i called them on the 12th, So december 22nd.
They are basically treating my CO issue like its a new payment. "Standard confirmation procedure".
