Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the approval process for the Chase Slate Edge Visa card?
I just received a "preselected" letter in the mail, and I'm curious whether or not the card is worth the time even applying for.
Wanted to know what the typical credit/Fico Score Chase requires for approval of this credit card.
Whom do they run a hard pull thru?
Also, does anyone already have a Chase Slate Edge and if so do they like the card?
I'm looking for a good Rewards/Travel Visa, but this offer caught my attention with the 21 months 0% interest & no annual fee. They even have this feature where you can break up a large purchase of $100 or more into friendly interest free payments....just a fixed monthly fee.
What also caught my attention was that if you charge at least $1,000 by your 1st year anniversary of owning the card, they will reduce 2% of the initial 24.49% APR. They will continue to reduce your APR by 2% each account anniversary year as long as you pay on time and spend at least $1,000 on the card by the next anniversary. If you continue to meet their guidelines, you can potentially reduce your APR all the way down to a prime rate plus of 9.74% . Any insight on this card would help.
If you guys think there is a better Visa Rewards/Travel card out there....I would love to hear about it and some of the particulars.
Thanks in advance for any help,

until your APR reaches the Prime Rate plus 9.74% (currently 14.49% variable APR based on the Prime Rate of 4.75% as of 06/22/2022).
The prime rate is now 5.5%. So, if they offer you a rate of 25.24%, the lowest rate, as of today, would be 15.24% or five years of 2% reductions.

Its a great balance transfer card but not for rewards or travel, i like the card design.
