Chase Slate card Help?

hello,

well ill get right to it. I want to apply for the chase slate card but before i get hit with another inquiry ( i have 6) i want to see if theres any chance of me getting approved.

I have a 660 CS in all three credit reports, i have three other cards with a combined cl of $1300, and i make about $600-$850 a month. is it worth applying for? i dont have any missed payments or anything like that.

@Bulldog17,

Have you checked the Chase Pre-approval site?  If you see it, you should be good to go.  Otherwise, I understand your hesitation...

Give it some time in this case. Chase likes to see a year of history.

Re: Chase Slate card Help?

if you don't need to do a Balance Transfer the Chase slate is the last card on earth I would apply for.

have you gone to chase.com and tried the pre-qual tool they have to see if they offer you a card, usually freedom and slate are the first that come up for people.?

I would suggest letting your accounts age and show some good history before seeking out any more credit, period. It's not a race. Smiley Happy

Re: Chase Slate card Help?

you need to wait until at least 7 months into credit history to make sure you are generating a fico report and score not fako only report then you might be able to add a couple more better cards to grow with.

Re: Chase Slate card Help?

I would wait and let the accounts age. and then go for that slate or freedom.

personally i would pick freedom since it has better rewards.

Good luck
