I'm curious why you would want to apply for a chase United when you have the FHB united Cc. I am from Hawaii and also have the FHB United Cc it's an awesome Cc!! Just curious..

I'm assuming the potential SUB or OP expanding their Chase relationship? 🤷
When comparing the FHB United CC, it appears to be limited to residents of Hawaii, Guam or CNMI, IIRC; whereas the Chase version is available nationwide. The FHB version is issued as as WE with a 25,000 SUB ($1,500 spend). The Chase Explorer MP currently has a 40,000 SUB ($2,000 spend) and is issued as Visa. Both have a $0 introductory AF for the 1st year, but the Chase version can be downgraded to the Gateway product after a year.
