So I applied for a couple of AMEX cards as a Canadian (first through Global Transfer and then susbequently with ITIN). I don't reside in US, but used a mail forwarding service. I recently applied for a chase card, and my app went to fraud/verification. They asked for copy of ITIN which I've faxed, but now they are asking for proof of address. Am I totally screwed now? They don't accept cell phone bill (for example from T-mobile) or bank statement from AMEX. Is there anything else I can do? Should I cancel the application altogether? I do have a friend in the US, whose address I could potentially use later on, but what do I do now? Any advice?
What doc are they requesting for proof of address?
What ever happened with your application?
