Chase and AMEX same day??

I have been lurking on this site for a LONG time now. Was hoping for some good input from the community-
I have a thin file. Established credit in 2017.
I currently have 1 secured card (2017) and in April of 2019, I tried my luck with Cap One for a Quicksilver and was shot down so quickly I didn't know what hit me. Welp, 2 weeks later I tried again and got 1 Discover cc (04/2019). Today, I just got approved for 1 AMEX cc! While I'm glad about that, I really wanted to get my foot in the door with Chase bc of the 5/24 rule.
Does anyone here recommend I bite the bullet and try to apply for the Chase FU despite just putting an application in with AMEX successfully today?
My whole thing is I want my cards to be roughly the same age so I can tend to the garden for at least a year before my next. Any thoughts?? Help!! Can't stop thinking about trying for Chase.

Details:
1 secured cc with my credit union 1k (2017)
1 Disc 2k(04/19)
1 AMEX 2k (07/19)
1 car lease w no missed payments
CK FAKO TU: 723
CK FACO Equifax: 723
(FICO scores in signature)
No baddies, no missed payments, utilization is below 1%

Re: Thin file, building slowly but surely...

If you know your current scores and could share them, it would help with the recommendations.  As far as age of accounts it looks like you would be ok.  Who is your secured with? Do you have any recent negs? Do you have a BK on your report?  These are all things the community would need to know to help you out.

Re: Thin file, building slowly but surely...

So sorry about that! Here are the details:

Details:
1 secured cc with my credit union (02/2017)
1 Disc (04/19)
1 AMEX (07/19)
1 car lease w no missed payments
CK TU: 723
CK Equifax: 723
(FICO scores in sig)
No baddies whatsoever, no missed payments, cc utilization for all accounts is currently below 1% but goes up to 9% sometimes- always paid in full

Surprised Cap1 would say no unless there was a red flag somewhere. You show no evidence of one so it is puzzling...

Re: Thin file, building slowly but surely...

I have a 1k limit on the secured cc and currently have $9 due on it for next month LOL the dreaded rejection letter from c1 stated I had few to no revolving accts despite having my secured open for 2 years with no missed payments (then again I guess 1 can def count as "too few"). Utilization is always around 3-5% on the secured cc but most ever was around 12% but always paid in full.
Idk. My guess is that I got too ambitious and should have gone with their Platinum offers first?? I'm guessing I overreached or something.

Re: Thin file, building slowly but surely...

From your DP's it looks like you would get in the door with Chase, but it would probably be with a toy limit.  OFC YMMV.  They have shown some surprising approvals in the past.  Good Luck on what you decide to do.

@Anonymous I removed your other post in other sub-forum here as cross posting is confusing to the members and against the TOS of the forums.  Usually time is your friends with posts and you will get responses on any given post with time.  Thanks for your understanding.

Re: Chase Freedom what is required for approval?

Kinda new to this forum, so wasn't sure but is there any way you can see what I just posted by looking at my profile? Your opinion would be much appreciated
