Hello there,
Here is the painting:
You can find my credit history details in my signature and I would add that I only have credit cards (no mortgage or installment loans) and debt free. I pay my bills in full each month and I'm 4% utilization right now, will be down to less than 1% next month. Let me know if I'm forgetting something.
One of the mistake I've made is burning a CC opening with a Petal 1 that I don't use... big regret!
My Chase Freedom Unlimited is my daily driver (dining and 1.5% on everything else), Apple for all Apple Pay and Uber spendings and Hilton for my spendings at Hilton properties.
As Hilton spendings I mean that I'm a flight attendant, half of my layovers happens at Hilton properties, I use it for the food and drinks and to use my Gold status (bottles of water and breakfast voucher) mostly. For leisure I exclusively stay at Hiltons but I'm open to changes.
Now I'm debating between being patient and keep working with Chase for the Sapphire Preferred, mostly for the transfers to partners. As of right now I'm just accumulating my points with my Freedom Unlimited. While I would be at it, adding more patience and finalizing the trifecta with the Flex. Keep in mind this would not be finalized until March 2023.
Or jumping in with Amex and opening the Gold as most of my husband and I spendings are restaurants and groceries at the moment. We plan to travel more (half of my travel is on standby so no points/status or anything... I mean I can travel for free) and if we travel both of us we buy positive space tickets. Traveling more means within the US to visit friends and family, abroad for vacation and France for family. Hence why the Platinum would be #2 (we're already using 90% of the benefits offered by the card). Both Gold and Platinum are already showing in my pre-qualifications and neither the AF or SUB will be a problem.
I would appreciate to know what you think, what advice do you have as I'm still fairly new to the credit cards world.
If it were me, I would move forward with AMEX. Assuming you don't add too many other accounts, it sounds like you're still under 5/24 and the time you'd be revisiting Chase is 10 months away so the AMEX would open, post and establish some good history. I like to diversify...

@cashorcharge Thank you for your input. The CSP, Amex Gold and Platinum are the 3 I'm focusing on and from which I'd get the most benefits. I do not intend to apply to anything else. And yes, good point on establishing more history.
