I applide for a chase united milage card and recieved the I will recieve a letter to say if I was approved. Can I call on Saturday to see if I was approved or do I have to wait until Monday? What number do I need to call?
Underwriters do normally work on Saturdays, but with the holiday weekend that may not be the case. The number is 888-245-0625.
DONT CALL UW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FIRST call 800-432-3117 and push # then 3 then 1 enter ur social and then listen to what the lady says if it says you will be notified in 30 days or notified in 2 weeks hang up and FOR SURE DO NOT CALL UW. If it says 7-10 days then more than likely its a denial and i would call UW. If its the 2 week message call that number back hittin 0 a bunch and ask to speek to the verification department.

I knew about this as well. I was getting 30 day message on other number however with this number you provided, she said i would be notified in 2 weeks. for sure do not call UW. they will find a way to deny you. let it go thru on its on.
also. since from the number you provided you are saying i should call verification? I am already card holder. but i will just ride it out and see what happens.

If you must call then only call verification directly and ask if any further information is needed. Otherwise I would wait it out with Chase. Not sure if they are open on weekends.
Normally they are. I reconned my Freedom on a Sunday.
I 100% buy in to them doing more approvals if you dont call in. But if theres any remote chance you have an old charge off or medical collection by providian, chase could have purchased it.
Also you can always recon more than once.
Chase can always pull a 2nd credit report..... you could have applied for two cards potentially under the same inquiry.... probably better that you didnt since you werent instantly approved.
I wonder why its working out like this, that its easier to get approved if you arent instantly approved by waiting?
Cant you just walk into a Chase bank and apply and get insatnt approval? I was told that when I called my local Chase bak. Havent done it yet but will.

Of course you can get instant approval, just like an online app -- but if the process requires further review or verification, the person at the bank is not making those decisions and the review process will take time just like if you applied online.

Agreed. and I like my chances waiting it out since i already have a chase card. Hoping to see the new icon pop up in my online profile. or i can wait for the letter from them. Good or bad. not the end of the world. just a HP.
