TU 721, EQ 724, 0% CC utilization w/2 auto loans through Chase so not like they don't know my payment history. I am over their 5/24 with 7 inq of which one was them approving the second car loan
Does calling and talking to a human get any more info than the automated line or are they all working from the same data? Thanks.
So what's the word? Approved or Denied?
I went hard at Chase last week when I dropped to 4/24, applied Ink Cash FIRST, first got 30-day notice now sitting at 7-10 days in writing...
Next, I applied for the CSP, again got 30-day, then 2-week, and today APPROVED/12k CL via phone status check!
Happy about the latter, but being told I might have sabotaged my Ink app by not waiting for the CIC to clear/process first.
Just to update...
My Ink Business Cash was APPROVED first via automated system - $12k SL.
My CSP was APPROVED yesterday after a call to Chase recon - $10K SL.
I was getting the "7-10 day via mail" message for the CSP on the app status line, and since the consensus is that this is a hold/denial, I had nothing to lose knowing the Ink was already approved. CSR ran though a bunch of verification questions, questions about balances on my credit report, amount of inquires (currently at 8) income etc. and ended the call with "pending final verification in 5-7 days". Within minutes the CSP was showing in my online account. ![]()
So in the end I suggest using a bit of both systems with Chase apps.... stick to Automated for Business Apps, and Recon Line for Personal Apps as needed based on initial auto app status messages.
Also don't expect much by way of email from Chase during this process... to date I only received the initial "We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision by U.S. mail. This could take up to 30 days." at time of both appliactions and NOTHING more to date even after approvals.
