Chase decision within the next 30 days message :(

I apped for Amex got instant approved. Apped for citi instant approved. So i figured 1 more and i'm done. Apped for Chase freedom unlimited and got the notify by mail message. They send me offers all the time. About 3 years back when i started building credit I got this message and it turned out to be a denial. I sure hope thats not the case this time. Dam!

No, not necessarily. That being said, how many accounts (credit card accounts, with any lender) have you opened in the past 24 months? Because if it's 5 or more, I'm afraid you'll be auto declined due to 5/24 rule.

Hope is not lost, 30 day messages with Chase tend to be good, have you checked the phone status line?

No new accounts and zero inquirys in last 2 and half years. No baddies in over 4 years. 5 CCs open one with $5000 balance on a 13000 limit.

There is an automated phone line that tells you the current status. I believe it is in the backdoor number sticky.

I was going to call Chase today, but after some research I see people says to wait it out and the 30 days message will most likely be approval. I sure hope so!
