Re: Chase denied both my credit limit requests...what should I do?

Why keep the Slate at all... it has not rewards?

I would move the CL to your rewards and go out and get a 2nd new chase card and it's likely to be approved for even higher than your new combined card!

OP says the existing rewards structure is fine. OP doesn't want to app new cards.

Based on the update, i would suggest OP has no actions to take. The cards are serving current spend requirements, there's no interest in apping just for rewards bonuses, certainly not for AF, and since the charging level is not pushing anywhere near the existing CL, the existing cards will do just fine.

Apping a Freedom card could be a consideration; it should have the same base rewards plus rotating categoriies to sign up each quarter. Given the limited interest in expanded rewards, I'm not even sure this would be of interest.
