Applied for Chase Southwest Card this morning. App goes into review so I called Recon. Girl says oh the app was declined due to Bankruptcy, would you me to review for an approval? Sure please do...Comes back and says we can't approve the account at this time due to "Unsatisfactory account with Chase." So I go off. No Chase accounts were in BK, or CO, or any bad accounts with them ever. She asks me to call their recovery dept. I ask for supervisor, he comes on says the same thing to me, and then says he's reaching out to the portfolio dept that handles these things, and they will contact me in regards to this.
So I call recovery dept and ask for supervisor, they say to me can i have info...provide info, and she says we don't have negative accounts, or co, or anything under your ss or information. She connects me to credit bureau dept to look deeper into my reports. He comes back and says I don't see any accounts or anything derogatory on your report from Chase. He's not sure whats going on either.
So now I'm waiting for them to call me back.
Little bit of history:
Had a wamu account purchased by chase 2008. They closed the account in 2010 or 2011 when my balances on my accounts got too high, and offered me a 0% payment plan for 5 years. Accounts been paid in full since May 2014 on time 110% of the time, no issues before or after on that account.
Last year I opened a freedom card around july, which they converted to a CSP for me in aug, they closed the account on my in october, stating I had too much available credit. I had a balance on the card, and I immediately paid it off after they closed the account on me.
I also had a Disney card that they did the same thing to me. Both opened in July, closed in October for too much credit.
While speaking to them in October I said why did you manually reconsider approving these accounts when the available credit was already there and high, so the risk was already there? They couldn't answer me and just said they are sticking to their gun and keeping their accounts closed.
I was an authorized user on my sisters account that had gone into BK back in 2013, so I don't know if these are the accounts their referring to or not.
Any help on this???
My Fico score on 6/4/15 from experian based upon a CITI pull was 715, and Chase pulled Experian this morning.
I'm guessing it's the AU account that is flagged in their system.
"Going off on them" will get you nowhere, btw.
I don't go off, but firm and was telling them that I don't have negative accounts and such. Didn't swear or use foul language at all.

Please don't take this the wrong way...but if you are consistently having these issues with Chase - why go back to the well again and again? It seems like they have been nothing but a headache for you. At some point, why not just chalk it up to, "Chase isn't for me" and walk away? Just curious.
I am no expert here, but wouldn't the fact that they took adverse action on so many of your accounts constitute a negative relationship? I mean it could be the AU account that they're referring to, and perhaps even the real reason they took AA on your accounts (as opposed to too much available credit) but I'm really not sure. I agree with the other poster, I would give up on Chase for a few years because they're not treating you well--there are other lenders out there; you don't need Chase.

Littlewing is right, move on already. I've seen this movie before and it always ends badly!
I agree with everyone, It's just Chase has a few cards I want in my wallet, and I want to build my relationship with them. I loved the CSP, and Disney since I go there all the time, and I usually only fly Southwest.
I have tons of other cards in my wallet that surpass Chase, but I want the relationship part with them.
I guess I can't handle the break-up.

Breakin up is hard to do. I think I heard that before, LOL.
