Chase policy-Does 5 accounts count AU accounts?

I am hesitant to open this can of worms, but I wouldn't have even thought of the 5-new-account policy including AU accounts but I read ONE post that said it did. I have tried to stay away from the Chase drama, but CSP is one of the things I may encourage DH to app for. He's under if it's just his accounts, but if the ones he's an AU on count too...no reason to keep it in the running. TIA

He will get an auto- decline for being over even with au accounts but it is possible to get this overturned during recon...exact thing just happened with my wife and she ended up getting approved for 11.5k
