Hello everyone, just checked my chase accounts and saw in my offers page that I was pre qualified for the slate and freedom card. My credit profile is still recovering from past baddies. My current scores are sitting at 660's. I have a capital one qs one card with 400 limit. NFCU cash rewards with 17k limit and a discover it card with 1500 limit. I've been reading that pre-qual offers aren't guaranteed but I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of my approval odds?

I'm curious as well. Mine is saying the same thing, but I rather see pre-approved rather than pre-qualified.
Pre qualified offers with Chase are not always guaranteed. I would check the pricing and terms page to see if your APR is presented as a range or a solid APR. That usually is an indication that they have pre-reviewed your credit profile and that you meet "some" of their approval criteria. But then again, you would really never know until you apply. I'd say you have a fair shot of approval. So as long as:
1. Those baddies are no longer on your file
2. You've been responsibly handling your credit for a year or more
You may not see an immediate approval. But might eventually get someone to look the application over and you might get your foot in the door. Speaking based from my own personal experience with Chase. But as everyone here would say, everyone's credit profile is not the same.

You'd most likely get approved.

If its still there Monday I'll apply. I'll be 91/3 for NFCU and if approved the navy card will be my third card in the last 24 months.

Chase is not too hung up on scores
If your negatives are not recent, and you didnt burn them, give it a try
Neither prequal nor preapprovals are guaranteed approvals, so if you want the card, you're gonna have to push apply button
Most people never see preapprovals from Chase, and that hasn't stopped them from getting approved.
If you're waiting for preapproval, it might be never.
If you do apply, you will get TU and one other CRA pull.

UW is very similar for their cards.
The biggest difference is that CSP has minimum $5000.00 SL and CSR has $10000.00
The only reason I'm mentioning those is sometimes Chase is unwilling to be the first one to issue limit in that range unless you already have cards close to it or over, but I've also seen plenty of exceptions.
If you're looking at Freedoms, UW is same and there is no minimum SL to worry about
If either of the Freedom cards would work for you, I'd start there
