Chase questions

Hi Folks,

Been a few months since I last posted. I had the good fortune of some things dropping off a few months back and my scores rose dramatically. I app'd 6 cards and was approved for all of them between July and August. When I applied I didn't realize how fussy Chase was with their app process and didn't make them a top priority. I would like a chase card but I have blown away the 5 cards in 24 month rule by getting 6 in the past 6 months. They will not however leave me alone and continue to send me letters to apply for Freedom every few weeks and today I received a letter for the CSP. I have to assume that even though I am receiving their propaganda that they won't be bending their 5/24 rule anytime soon and that applying would just be a waste? My scores are all mid-high 700s no baddies.

Thanks

You can go with thier co-branded cards and not have to worry about the 5/24 rule.

Re: Chase questions

Your 'assumption' would be correct. Is it possible to get approved anyway? Well u know what they say.... anything is possible. Is it worth possibly wasting an inquiry to find out? Only one person can answer that. However on the flip side if you're intent on getting in with Chase, as an option I s'pose u could go the co-branded route. That said, you've got a nice lineup - and Chase ain't going anywhere Smiley Happy

Re: Chase questions

Interesting.  This 5/24 rule only about personal Chase cards or business chase cards Ink also?

Re: Chase questions

So, co-branded Chase cards don't count? I'm interested in the United card.

And, do all credit cards count? I opened a few store cards this past summer which may hurt my chances to get in with Chase.

Re: Chase questions

The 5/24 is true for the sapphire, slate, and freedom.

Along with ink plus & ink cash. Currently only for Chase branded cards. We are all still good for co-branded cards.
