It works. Just be persistent and polite.
Please explain. What card? How many new accounts do you have? Any other info that could be helpful to others.

Started with Amex BCE, Amex Everyday in June. Discover It and Chase Sapphire Preferred in July, all instant approvals. Went ahead and app'ed for Chase Freedom, approved few days later. But realized, I could benefit from United Mileage Plus Explorer since I travel often. Chase informed me I can only have 2 apps in one month. I recon the Explorer, advised to close Freedom. I did. Hope this helps.
Congrats on all of your recent approvals! If you don't mind me asking, how many cards have you opened in the last 2 years?
Oh ok, so all of the ones you listed above are the only ones you've opened. I was asking because Chase seems to have a new policy for its main cards that we can't have more than 5 new accounts within the past 2 years. I'm hoping that they start relaxing that policy soon, which is why I ask everyone who has been approved for Chase recently how many cards they've opened. I've opened up a lot in the last 2 years (17 in the past 2 years, 15 of those are from just this past year ).

You got busy then.Well, I guess it worked on my favor how all the other apps/approvals preceded Chase. I've read on that too. That must be the case. Off to the garden I go. You?
Oh ya, I am firmly planted in the garden this time.
