Chase reconsideration?

I applied for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card to get the 100K bonus last night. It was instantly denied due to Chapter 7 in 05/2017. I called the reconsideration line and he asked me about the bk. I explained him the reason. After keeping me on 20 minutes hold he told me he is done reviewing the application but however gonna take additional day or two. Anyone have experience with this?

Was Chase included in your CK7? Also did you have any prior banking relatership with Chase?

Was Chase included in your CK7? Also did you have any prior banking relatership with Chase?

Yes Chase Freedom for about 8K. I had their checking account which I closed.

he could have come back and said just said no, still declined.

so taking extra time is a positive step. good luck

I called in to check the application status and they said verification team needs info. If verifying everything they said it's back to process. Will get card or letter in 7-10 days. Wait is killing me lol.
