Chase visa Amazon

Sunday went on a credit card applying spree. One of the cards I was declined for was the chase Amazon but got the Amazon store card 2200 limit.
Received the dreaded 7-10 day letter message on the chase visa Amazon rewards card. 2 days later got an email
congratulations you've been approved for 5000....well that was unexpected!!!!

How does the app work with them? I'm figuring a manual review was done?

Kind of a similar thing happened to me, got the 'cart offer' from Amazon Visa, I am trying to get some new lines soon, then garden for 6-9 months to get a mortgage.  Got the dreaded 7-10 day message and eventually declined because I got a Chase Slate card about 2 weeks ago.  They said you cannot open multiple Chase accounts within 30 days of each other.  Called the 1-888-245-0625 # and they reconned and approved the card.  Felling good about that and Chase.  They are making themselves continders for the mortgage.

Congrats on the cards.  The Amazon Store card has more benefits than the Chase version.  But enjoy them.

Thats what I'm doing too JB5. We have a mortgage and that will be paid off in 2016. But we want to get a bigger house. Her credit excellent, mine was garbage it's better now 650's So I'm just thing to get what I can to garden those cards until 2019 when everything bad falls off my CR and the cards I have now will be 3 years with all positive reports.
I'm just hoping some of the other ones do a manual review too so those HP go to good use!

There's not much point in carrying both the Amazon Visa and the store card, IMO, since the store card gives an unlimited 5%. The Visa is 3% on amazon, and 2% on a few categories. Far from a terrible card since at least you can cash out the points for full value even if not using them on amazon, but just not really a necessity for amazon spend when you have the store card.

Anyway, congrats on the approvals.

The ones I'm getting now are my upgrades from surge and total. I know I know lmbo. 

So for me this is a huge success from those cards. One day I'll get the really good ones!!
