Chase waiting game, my fault

Ugh! I downgraded my CSP a month ago, planning to reapply to get the bonus and then upgrade to the CSR after a year. I got a message that I couldn't be immediately approved and they'd get back to me. I was surprised because my credit score is over 800, with less than 9% utilization but then I got an e-mail from Lifelock saying that they had blocked an inquiry. I didn't even know Lifelock did that. I'm so mad. I have credit monitoring through Transunion which clearly shows that my report was unlocked, so I had no clue that it could still be blocked by another party. So now what? The reconsideration line is closed for the night. Now I'm scared I won't get approved, or that it will take a month. I wanted the card to rent a car next week.

Uggggg I didn't know Life Lock blocked inquires either 😳 !  

I'd call Chase 1st thing in the morning (after fixing the Life Lock issue) and have them check again. I hope they won't wait 30 days.

I was finally able to talk to someone and I got approved. Whew. 

It had been less than 30 days since I downgraded the card, so I'm glad I got it. Now to start meeting that spending goal, lol.

As soon as I verified that my new CSP was showing up in my account,  I applied for the Hilton Aspire and got instantly approved for that one too. Now back at 5/24 and happy. 😊

I have a big move coming up, and 10 days booked at various Hiltons in conjunction with that, so both cards will easily get the minimum spend for the bonuses.
