Chase you're such a tease!

I've commented on a couple other people's posts about their wait on Chase. I've been in the same boat, I'm currently at day 16 of my wait. I suppose no news is good news considering last time I applied for the Disney card it was pretty busy instantly declined with a letter coming within a week of applying. I call the Robo-lady daily and she is still telling me 30 days, so I'm holding onto hope that this could be an approval. I really want R2-D2 in my wallet, and the Star Wars perks that come with the card. At this point, I'm not going to poke the bear and call in because I do have a lot of inq and newer accounts. I don't have a banking relationship with Chase, so I won't be able to see anything online either. I just hate waiting, so I'm going to start guessing when my approval or denial will finally show itself. Right now, I'm guessing day 21 will be the day for a status change online. Anyone else care to take a guess?

Re: Chase you're such a tease!

Keep up the great attitude Smiley Happy you're the most positive I've seen about the wait. It can be a while..If you haven't received anything in the mail like a letter and it's still saying 30 days that's a good thing. You just might be a shoe in...My experience with Chase is denials lol. I AU on a few cards but nothing on my own two feet.

Re: Chase you're such a tease!

Thanks everyone! I have to remain positive, it's the last app I'm doing for a while and I really want to take the kiddos to Disney in the next two years. My 7 year old son is asking me every day if R2&3PO are joining my wallet.

I might consider the Costco Visa, but not until I start seeing real time approval stats which will give me a baseline on whether or not I'd get approved for it.

Re: Chase you're such a tease!

Check the approvals page!!!😂 So glad I was patient! Happy to have heeded the advice of not calling in, I don't think my results would have been the same if i had called in!

Re: Chase you're such a tease!

Your scores are a little low for Chase.  Some people can get approved.  I was barelly approved with a 702 FICO8 when I first applied for the Freedom.   Good luck, it can still happen!
