This seems wierd to me.

I did a pre-qual with chase yesterday and it said it had nothing to offer me.  Well I was buying some things on Amazon yesterday and it was offering $70 credit toward my purchases if I applied and received a credit card from them. So I said what the heck, besides I had just got approved for citi' double card yesterday.

I got approved for Amazon for $2,500.  I did not know at the time it was through chase.  However, I have lerned that it went through TU, which my score is 710 but thier scoring system said my score was only 643. However they still approved me.

So my question is. If they would approve me through Amazon for $2,500 Why would they not have any offers for me on their own site? Should I bother applying through chase directly?  Also, would it now be too soon to apply for a chase seeing I got the Amazon through them?
