Before I apply for a new card from chase, are there any rules I should know of, like a 6 months between applications? I got the freedom flex in may and I do have a balance.
@Hotcoals91 How many new cards do you have? Do a search on "5/24", which is Chase's underwriting guideline for new cards (any issuer, not just Chase) opened in a two-year period.

I have a feeling that it is best to wait 6 months. Since you have a Chase card, you can always check on the website under the "Just for You" offers to see if you're prequalified. My guess is that a prequalification won't show up until 6 months from the date you opened the flex card.

im hoping to get a pre selected offer myself in a month or two. im hearing some people get those green and black stars as early as 4 months after opening a new checking/ savings

From what i read and i experienced, they will want you to wait at least 30 days in between applications.
Also, you need to have 4 new accounts or less within 24 months before getting approved for their card.
