Chevron, Texaco, Chevron-Texaco

I noticed on the application site it asked if you wanted to apply for the Chevron, Texaco or Chevron-Texaco card.  If I applied for the Chevron card and later moved to an area with only Texaco stations, can I not use the card since I wouldn't have applied for the Chevron-Texaco version?  Thanks

Interesting point you brought up, I have the Chevron Visa. I didnt know they had Chevon or Texaco or both cards. I thought it was just you apply for the Visa in hopes of getting it but could possibly get just store card. Or if you didnt want to qualify for visa, you could just get store. 

I did Chevron because I liked the card image, I thought they were all the same. Either way in my case Chevron is more present in my area. but I cant figure out the angle on the three cards yet.

I got the Chevron/Texaco Visa Card.  It has both logos on the card.  I have only used it at a Chevron station, but im sure it's good for both.  Hope this helps.

i dont understand why they wouldnt just offer a chevron/texaco visa not the combo or chevron visa and texaco visa.

I dont really ever see any Texacos around me, maybe thats why I didnt even think twice about the two. I just dont get the logic of why I wouldnt want the combo over the individual visa lol.

all the cards work at all the different stations. They are just letting you pick which logo you want on the CC. Doesnt matter!

Its was the same for my 76 gas...i chose that one for the logo card, but I can use it at 76, conoco, phillips-phillips66...

Thanks pizza I think that's what I thought originally when I got and likes the blue visa. It totally makes sense to me now, lol!

I would call CS and ask them. I have the Chevron card, but I've never tried to use it @ Texaco. Good luck!

people...look on the back of your CC. It will show you all the places you can use it...Texaco/Cheveron..interchangable..

Texaco is no longer an independent company and hasnt been since 2001. Texaco is now a brand of the Chevron Corporation. SO you may use your gas card at either Texaco or Chevron fueling locations.
