Citi AA app

I applied for Citi AA business card first and then the personal this afternoon, which I now realize that it was a stupid mistake due to Citi rule. My business app got approved while my personal went into pending, and the rep told me that Citi has sent me a letter which I need to send it back to them.

My question is: If the rule is enforced, why didn't Citi decline my app instantly? I know I should not raise my hope, but is this a sign of approval?

Hey did you do both apps the same day or one yesterday and one today?

I am thinking about doing the samething. I have read that with citi you cant do 2 apps in the same day it has to be 8 days apart but I have also read people have been able to do both the same day maybe thats cause one is a business card and the other is a personal card so i am lost.

So can you keep us/me updated on if you get both cards or not. I was planning on apping in march.

I see you got good scores mine are about the same what is your UTI%?

I applied this afternoon, with the business card first. My util is less than 1%.

Could be wrong but sounds like verification that you submitted 2nd app

10 business days or so I think.

I hope it's a verification form or something like that. Citi did 2 HPs to my Equifax file for these two apps.

Turned out that Citi couldn't verify my SSN and address, so it asked me to send copies of my SSN card and bank statement. Kinda odd though, as I used the exact information to apply for its business credit card and it approved me without a hiccup.
