Thoughts on the Citi American Airline Travel card? Perks? The current sign up bonus in 40K miles and $200 sign up bonus, is that good? Approval requirements? I have some upcoming travel and contemplating apping for this card after receiving a pre-qualifying offer in the mail, it's not a preapproval though.
My plan is the purchase through AA even without the card but I'm wondering if it would be worth the hard pull and actually having the card. I also would like to have a SWA travel card in the future as well and I already have an AMEX delta.
Please share your experience, opinions and advice, FICO score needed and Credit Bureau they are likely to pull. I tried the prequalifer online but nothing came up.

If you really want this card then just go ahead and app! Don’t rely so much on their prequal as a lot of us here myself included didn’t even have any prequal show up at the time when I cold app’d for it. They (citi) double pulled me using my EX and EQ Bancard FICO8 Model which was 767 at the time of my approval last month. I have a thread for it at the approval section.
