I don't even see that sign up bonus you speak of, they are all just bonus miles if you meet the spend. But it coud simply be my browser.

Now that's all fine and dandy as long as you get a CL large enough to handle the spend. But this is Citi, and they like starting out with low limits.
By looking at your scores, it could be a low SL. Who knows. But if you fly AA a lot, it will probably benefit you in the future to get it. The wost that can happen is they say no, right? Oh and a HP.

Thank you for your advice...I'm going to go ahead and app for the Citi AA. They changed the bonus to the 50k miles but I was still able to locate the 40K with $200 statement credit.

I apped for the Citi AA and was approved for SL $3,500. They pulled EX
