Citi CCC application ‘we mailed you a code’

applied for the CCC the other night  because my long term cash back setup plans involve two Custom Cash's 

Got the 7-10 day message 

According to doctor of credit's reference page on citi, their recon line is open till midnight 7 days a week

so I gave them a call and they told me they could see my application but needed to wait for the letter they were sending

I figured it was a denial letter they were sending

BUT...     when I checked the online app status tool in their site today , it said they have sent a letter via usps with some verification code and gave me a box to enter the code to continue the application process

Is this a Good sign that I'll be approved?

Yup! It's a good sign. The same thing has happened to me and my application was approved. Congrats!

Yeah, I'd say it's a good sign: they wanna verify you're you and that the address you gave them is correct. Have you moved in the last 2 years? That well might trigger address verification.

Well it was definitely a good sign

got the letter today and entered it on the website
