Capitalone Venture X Pre-Approval Message

Venture X was the last card I wanted to add for this year to help with my 2025 travel plans. I got the pre-approval but the message below is in yellow above the accept offer button:

"After you accept, you'll need to verify some of the information you provided before we can open your account."

Has anybody seen this recently? I did a search and only saw a mention of something similar for a citizen living abroad.

My EQ report does have a fraud alert until July 2025 and I moved from Florida to Illinois last month.

I'm concerned they may ask for income verification and I won't have the docs to support my stated income until filing taxes in January. I stated correct income just don't have all the docs to support it yet. If using last year's docs it is about $10k less.

 I went to the page and completed it. This was below my "accept offer" button. Not in yellow though.

Accepting an offer will record a hard credit inquiry, which may impact your credit score. You may need to verify your information before we can open your account.

The yellow message indicates a need for additional verification. Capital One may request income verification.
