Citi CLI Denied

Had the button on my account page. Havent ever requested nor received an auto cli. Ive never actually used it lol got a free expedia ticket or something for signing up.

Any how the letter stated too many cards w balances...Didnt make sense since only two cards have balances reporting. The report used was dated Oct 2015. lol

If i ask to review credit now im sure itll be an auto HP. No need to pop a viagra, I can wait to try again and get it up naturally.

Thought i'd chime that data point in.

Re: Citi CLI Denied

I had the button show up after about 3 months, denied. Tried it again around 6 months and got a 75% SP CLI. I guess as with many things in life, a balance between being patient and being ready to jump at the right time is key.

Re: Citi CLI Denied

OP - if you're not using the card (or haven't used since you've got it) you really can't expect an auto-CLI.  If there hasn't been much or any activity on the card since you got approved, it's going to go off that last SP.  From a CLI growth perspective, and no usage with the current $4K (from your signature), what CLI were you expecting?

Then it looks like it will take a while to "get it up naturally".  I've yet to see any of the "dozens and dozens of people" you mention with Citi cards (inclusive of Expedia) that are getting these non-solicited auto-CLIs without any activity - do you have links/examples?
