Citi CLI denial DPs

Yesterday was the day after my 12th statement cut on my DC. I had these grand plans of hitting them up for the SP CLI, then turning around and going for the full on HP review and seeing how high I could get them to increase it all at once, because I really want this card to be my misc. DD but it's hard with a 2k limit. I was approved with $1,000 SL 10/2019 when my scores were in the 650s. Approved for SP CLI to $2,000 6 statements after opening the card. I was hoping they'd warm up to me with scores almost a hundred points higher over the last year, and running 1k+ monthly through the card, always PIF. Current scores: EX-747, EQ-746, TU-732. Denial reasons were:

1) There are too many recent increases in balance on revolving accounts.

--I am currently at AZEO with $473/$46,500 reporting. This puts me at 1% aggregate/3% individual.

2) Our credit report shows too many inquiries.

--They SP'd TU and I am at 4 total with 2 scorable.

I know the reasons they give are just because they HAVE to give reasons and they're a crock of bologna. At least the SP language remains on my account meaning I can go back to smashing that luv button the day after each statement until I see some results.

Wow, sorry to read but i would kill, ok not kill but do the Humpty Dance, to have only 4 hpsSmiley Wink

In my case i never get sp increases most likely due to low income, high debt and lots of inquiries, plus max Citi exposure. Doesnt matter i pay in full and maintain my Citi accounts well. Sure would be nice though to get one sp increaseSmiley Wink
