Citi CLI denied

Citi ThankYou Preferred was my first credit card which I opened in 05/14 with a CL of $500. I didn't request a CLI for 3 years, and two months ago I did and was bumped up to $1500. I waited for two months ( 2 statments), and checked on the website to make sure "a credit report would not be obtained", and I was denied an additional CLI. How long do you have to wait for a CLI with Citi?

In most cases, I believe it's six months.

The above post is correct.  It's 6 months between SP CLI requests.  You can take a HP at any point though and usually do fairly well with Citi from what I understand in that they'll usually grant you significantly more than you'd get from a SP CLI.

its usually 6 months. one time i think i received a SP CLI on 4th month. only once,. again it went back to 6 month.

It may be 6 months but for me its more like 10 years lol. All my other cards trust me rnough for increases but not Citi. Ah well, thats why we have di ersity
