So I'm still trying to figure out what card to get next and the Citi Costco Anywhere Visa has always looked out of reach for me until now.
Right now I have a 684 FICO 8 Ex. Inquiry wise, right now I'm sitting at 1/6, 7/12, 14/24. New accounts wise 0/6, 2/12, 6/24. The 1/6 should be within Citi's limit but its the 7/12 and 14/24 that concerns me a little. TU would almost certainly get me a denial I'm currently sitting on 3/6 with them so definite no no. Eq on the other hand is sitting on 0/6, 2/12, and 3/24. So I locked my Ex and TU to see if I can "force" Citi to pull Eq and apparently that didn't work. I don't have access to my Eq FICO 8 but my Vantage 3.0 on Eq is sitting at a 708. I'd really prefer to have Citi pull from Eq instead of Ex. My Ex isn't the worst but Eq is still my strongest score because I think Citi is really the only major lender that even pulls from them where I live. Should I continue to "spin the dice" until Citi's system decides to pull Eq or should I give up on this until I get my credit utilization under 30% (currently with AU accounts I'm at 27%, without I'm looking at 54%).
what is 2/12, 7/12 etc?

@Legendary70 they're referring to the number of inquiries aka 'hard pulls' and the number of new accounts reported within the related number of months - in OP's case they have had 2 inquiries made and 0 new accounts that started reporting over the last 6 months, 7 inquiries made and 2 new accounts that started reporting over the last 12 months, and so on.
