I rolled the dice this morning--my account's less than a month old, and I'd read a lot about folks doing the HP CLI upon activation.  Decided to go for it myself.  Was at $3,600.  Asked for $17,500 since a lot of folks say to shoot for the moon on these.  Got the standard 24 hour message, but a few hours later, I saw a new $8,400 limit.  Just edged out my Discover as my highest limit (I'm wondering if that was coincidental or on purpose).

@KittenAttack good luck with the cli. @ GeorgiaBulldog congrats. I attempted a cli on my newly acquired DC card and was shot down. Message stated the account was less than 6 months old and very politely asked me to try again in 6 months. I suspect they saw something they didn't like. I'll put some spend on it, let like a dozen hp's fall off and try again in 6 months. Again good luck to you.
