Citi Denial

We'll after a call to EO. Still denied. Too many inquiries. I applied for Chase Freedom and Saphire in same day and citi pulled 2 on 7/1 and 1 on 3/30. 2 from same bureau. But, I have too many inquiries.  Go figure

Sorry to hear that. Citi is stingy. Were you pre qualified at their site?

i was approved for Sapphire not freedom

Usually it's the other way around, lol. Did you apply for Sapphire first? Maybe they just don't like you applying for 2 cards at once? Maybe try recon.

Citi is inquiry sensitive. My Thank you Premier app is under EO review. I'll update the status on here.

Sorry to hear that.  I was able to get a CITI denial recon'd with EO 3 months ago with about 23 inq on EX.  EO approved me with a 1k limit.  When I received card, I applied for a CLI which was denied.  Again contacted EO and CLI was approved to 5k.

Sorry to hear.  Citi can be a bit fickle at times.  Depends what way the wind is blowing.

Most of the time even EO review the outcome is usually the same. They tend to stick to their decision.
