Received a prequalifcation for the Citi Double Cash and figured I would pull the trigger as it could be a great daily driver for me. EQ HP score 770 or better. Listed income as 200k HHI, Application went pending and had to give a call and they are sending a letter to me to fill out for IRS. I have never filled this out before for any creditor minus buying a house and the income I used is the same income listed on file for my Citi Costco Visa. What are my approval odds my sole income is about half of that 200k and I am listed on all joint checking accounts that contain the other direct deposits. Hopefully this HP wasnt for nothing.

You know when an existing customer runs into your situation I always think there is something missing with the financial. You already report to the bureaus and have a performance track record with the financial. What is this all about? If they are overall concerned it would seem they may start at a lower credit limit and increase in a few months?
I'd say your approval odds are high. It's not usually a hard card to get. They probably want to know for limit purposes.
