Citi always pull EX for me...last time I apped, they saw my EX frozen and asked me to unfreeze.
Here in GA, Citi is strict on pulling from EX but for their store cards, they are always EQ pulls.

I looked at them 2-3 days ago. No other differences except the 4 Au's accounts i was talking about . I dont understand it as well. Its has been like this for 3 months. EQ 3 months ago 649 TU 709 EX 701. Does EQ more stingy with new accounts? I have 3 new account within last month,2 has not reported. And 2 new Au's account dated dec 2014,both has been terminated,it appears terminated on EQ but list as open, so i filed dispute to remove them completely or at least make it close. On TU,all Au's account was removed completely, without a trace.
I don't know what's going on then. In my case EQ didn't/doesn't seem to care about new accounts moreso then the other two. Back to your original question about the Prestige I would wait it out for couple more months. Citi is well known for pulling them and I think if you freeze EQ they're going to want to see it and your current score is a bit low though it's possible that they would discount the low score if they pulled another one with it. But if I were you I would wait about 3 months or until the score goes up once the AU accounts are removed like it with TU. Something is causing EQ to be low in comparison. How many inquiries do you have in EQ?
18 Inqs, same as TU, 10 on EX. And 8 of them will fall off in July for EQ and TU. Would it be possible for citi to move credit limit from my DP to open the Prestige? My chase Ba+ delta will report in 2 weeks and im sure they will lower my chance of getting another citi card.

They pulled EQ when i app for the DP, and EQ again for Cli increase. I live in TX, and the credit pull database has no data regarding citi prestige
In NY, Citi seems to pull both EQ and EX - they certainly did for my Prestige application. Last year, when my scores were in the mid-600 range, I was declined for a Citi Thank You card with simultaneous EQ and EX hard pulls as well.
Good luck if you decide to do it anyway.
I'm in CA, and I apped for the Citi Hilton Signature on 3/6/15 and then the Citi Prestige on 3/28/15, both online approvals
Prestige pulled both Experian and Equifax
Hilton pulled just Equifax
I'm not sure what scoring model Citi uses, but my Equifax score for them was about 40 points lower than what MyFico was showing at the time I applied.

If I were you, and convinced myself that I really wanted the Prestige card, and was uncertain whether it would be approved (and there seems to be no guarantee which CR will be pulled) AND knew two or three other cards were going to report soon, I'd go ahead and app the Prestige.
Worst case scenario: A decline, another HP that folds into the list of HP that are going to start fading later this year, and a Reasons Letter that outlines the reasons for the denial, and, same as today, no Prestige card in hand.
Best case scenario: A Prestige card is delivered, perhaps with some recon discussions, perhaps with moving some limits around.
We can speculate all we want on this thread. Until you app, it's all pretty much guess work. Unless you wait a year, in which case, it's likely a lock to get it.
