So banker couldn't tell you if it was denied, approved or 7-10 day review?
I guess citi operates differently. I called app status, csr said it takes 24 to 48 hours for citi to receive and process app from branch.

Oh wow...didn't know that...usually most major banks will have some kind of response for the banker when you apply in-branch....well rooting for you that you get some good news soon!
Tks, yeah this is the 1st for me as well. With chase, i knew result immediately. Maybe citi is in process of closing down all branches so it takes time for app to go in the system.

No prequal, but i received their email for Citi AA plat and Citi Hilton
No prequal meaning you get no prequal response for any card on the Citi site, or you don't get the Prestige as a prequal?
If you do get some prequal cards, are they at a range of APR, or for one APR amount?
What has been your usage pattern on the Diamond Preferred? How long have you had the DP?
18 months with the DP, i used it for BT option only and transfer around 14k to it, the balance is 6k now. No i dont receive any prequal for any card on citi website, only email invitation. But the same apply to chase, i never receive any prequal either.
So if you transferred $14k to the DP, what is the limit on the card? that's a high limit for the Diamond Preferred. Just based on that, and what sounds like a rapid pay down rate, I would suspect you will get the Prestige (once you get past the paperwork delay).

not really rapid lol, cause the DP has 0%,so i just ignored to pay it down fast. 14k in 2segment,6k and then 8k,my DP limit is 15k. I PIF the 1st 6k in a year, and then just accepted the 8k offer last Nov

Same difference: heavy usage and fast payments. In general an excellent way to gain favor with a CCC for your next app.
I'm thinking you are a lock for the Prestige when you app.
