Citi Secured

To update my earlier comment, I wasn't approved. 😓 I applied on 2/22, religiously checked the status and finally called on 2/29. They told me then it would be 7-10 more days but when I checked the site on 3/1 it said I was declined. They never took $$ from my act. I'm upset but not totally surprised since I burned Citi in 2009. That acct has since been paid in full but I've heard they have a long memory. You'd think they would approve a secured but nope, not for me. I'll try again next year once all my baddies have fallen off.

Well after all my worrying, I just got the email. It was approved! Finally I am somewhat back in with Citi! I had a charge off from college that I paid off 6 months after it was charged off. Never showed up on my reports though. I am just so happy that it was approved even if it is just a secured card.

Today is day 7 for me they took the funds on day 1.. Hoping I get that email soon

I apped 1/15 and deposit taken on 1/17......Received approved email on 1/23, says the account is open as of today. Card in 7 to 10 days.

BK discharged 6/2012....citi was included in BK.

What was the reason for the decline? If you paid Citi back in full you should have been good to go.

It took 7 days but I just got the email at 9am .. feeling great..
