Citi Strata CLI denied

Good day,

I've had my Citi Strata for 7 months and my request for a credit line increase request was denied.

is there a reconsideration line to call? The numbers for Citi in back door are for new applications

it's unlikely to help, did you get the online letter with your denial reasons? 

it's not unreasonable to fix those reasons and get an approval in 1-2 months time

Not yet since it was done today 

the credit score is 756 and utilization is below 10% with zero inquiries.

payment history is excellent with them as well

Have you opened any new accounts in the past 6 months? Citi doesn't seem to like that for new apps or for CLIs.

I won't know the reason till they send me the letter 

but this does really stink, I really hoped for one

Citi is tough. They won't grant me a CLI - I want to push my utilization down, but as I have opened a new account last month, I'll have to wait 5 months... I guess.
By then I won't need it.
