- I think Barclays' Uber will likely be an approval. They may get slightly spooked by new accounts and give you a lower than your average SL. They will pull TU.
- BB&T will likely be an approval. They, on the other hand, will more likely either match or even slightly exceed your highest SL. They will reliably pull Equifax.
- No experience at the moment with WF Propel and Citi. From what I know, Citi is very likely to cost you 2 HPs and WF Propel may pull an extra report via an SP (or even try to go for 2 HPs). Citi is almost guaranteed to pull EX.
- In all cases, you can always try optimize your utilization, may be even using AZEO method, to squeeze those extra 5-7 FICO points right before applying. These will unlikely to change your approval/denial outcome but may bump you into a slightly higher SL bracket.
My wife and I both have BB&T cards AND a banking relationship with BB&T and I can say in OUR experience BB&T did not and has not come close to being our Highest SL. My cards are $7500 and $10k, my wife's $7500 and both of us have a multitude of cards with $25k+ credit limits, actually the $7500 is probably our lowest limit on any bank card. Note too we have a 6 figure income and mid 700's to low 800's FICO scores. BB&T also requires you to drop in a branch for a CLI request (in our case at least).
To add as far as WF, which we also have ($16k CashWise card), WF requires a "relationship" in general - we had a first mortgage through WF which went away when we refinanced last Spring, but we still have the card in good standing.
I received a marketing mailer for both the WF Propel and Cash Wise. Decided to apply for the Propel. It went to a manual review and two days later when I called, I was approved for $9k. I had no banking relationship with Wells. In addition, I had 8 HP in the last year, with 5 in the last 6 months and 2 new accounts plus a car lease prior to the Propel

Pipeguy, thanks for the feedback. WF certainly can't "require" a relationship, though it may be preferred. If it was required there wouldn't be so many approvals for the card without a relationship. US Bank on the other hand actually REQUIRES a relationship for some products.
As far as SL from BB&T goes I'd be happy with $7.5-10k and $9k or higher would make it my highest limit.
Mean machine, thank you. I did, however, make it kinda clear that I'm gonna app so "stop applying" isn't exactly helpful. Not all lenders have issues with accounts, especially with a current relationship. WF is known to be conservative as is Barclay's. Citi approved me already with a newer AoYA and more */6 and */12. They can vary vastly by profile and are not skittish if they like your file. BBT is not known to be new acct/inq sensitive at all. Their limits may not be huge but they are more than sufficient for me at this point in time.
It is helpful. It is very helpful.
Your siggy says you are gardening til 2/2019 and you have a seedling as your current rank. You are in the garden for less then month and you are asking advice on apping some more ??? < Here is where I have to bite my tongue >
