Do I need to wait to have the card in hand to take a HP and recon the SL, or can I take care of it now?
No way to know which second bureau they'll pull, right? It seems in my state they mostly pull EX and EQ, so since they pulled EQ for the app I'd lean toward the EX pull for the recon.

BBS,
Can you set up your online Citi account or do you have to wait to have the card in hand? If you can get your card number, go ahead and setup your account, then go to Account Management and see if you have the SP link.
And congratulations. It really is a great SL!
I assume I need the card in hand to set up my account, unless someone knows a way to do so prior to receiving your card?
So there will be a SP link if you're able to get one? Interesting. Without being able to log in and see what you're talking about it's difficult to picture.
The plot thickens, though. I just pulled my reports from CCT and it looks like Citi hit me with both EQ and EX pulls today. I thought it was just EQ. So, they've seen my two clean reports already. If I go the HP CLI route, no doubt they'd pull my 3rd (dirty) bureau report. No sure if that would hinder my CLI chances, or if they'd still consider the other 2/3 of my reports as well which looked really good. Decisions, decisions.

Lock TU when you do it, do it on a phone call. they told me blah blah was locked i said pull the others it takes $$ to unlock it and he said OK. BAM 10K! I did mine and took my HD to 10K and my simplicity from 4700 to 5900 but i did the simplicity on a 6 mo SP, HD i did right away on a second HP
But if they can't pull TU then they'd be hitting me with another HP on EX or EQ which they just pulled? Seems ridiculous for them to pull the same bureau report 24 hours later that they just pulled, no?

yea it would be nice if they would use the same pull but citi wont
Its one of those things with citi. it's either eat another HP to get what you want or wait the 6mo out for a SP and if you dont want them to pull TU because its dirty thats the only way i know would be to eat another HP on one they've already pulled.
Would it be better from Citi's perspective (and me getting a CLI) if they re-pulled one of the same 2 bureaus they already pulled (800+ scores on both) or if they pulled my one dirty bureau report with a 764 score?
Be careful about talking about manipulating CB's to be pulled for more favorable outcomes. Against the TOS, enough said. Thanks

I have no intentions of manipulating anything nor did I imply that. The question I asked was was whether Citi re-pulling one of the 2 bureaus they already pulled would be "better" than if they pulled the 3rd one, my worse score, of 764? I'm just not sure what Citi would accomplish with a double pull of the same bureau 24 hours apart.
