We are doing another Hawaii trip and it's about 1300 a person for me, the wife, and our 2 year old.Hawaii is a wonderful place, I lived on the windward side of Oahu for a bit. Am I the only one that thinks it's crazy for airlines to charge $1300 for a 2 year old though? Dont they count like a carry on?
I don't see the difference as two years olds take up seats. And I have a two year old.
Don't get me wrong, there are some 2 year olds I wished they'd charged the parents a rate more than adult fare, for alterring my flight experience.
My daughter was great on her first flight. Coming back she was pretty awful, But everyone was two years old once so I am sure you were disturbing people in your day.

I still disturb people today!(If you doubt me, keep reading) Not on flights though, in that cramped space, then, or now. I didn't fly until i was an adult. My parents may have followed the Golden Rule, back when it was more popular.
Hey everybody... we need to bring this back on topic.
Thanks in advance.

Got tired of waiting so called and they said another department is currently working on this and they don't take phone calls. They will be in touch within the week. Wonder what that means.
I'm glad you called to try to get some resolution(as I was taking heat no matter which side I took on the price debate! lol), but wish they had given you a more clear answer. I went through a recent saga with AMEX where I got a very similar answer about another department that doesn't take phone calls, so I get that it can be frustrating and potentially put a person a bit on edge, especially since you have specific plans for the card. Right now the best that I'm coming up with is that with that very similar answer, I was approved shortly thereafter. I wish a speedy resolution for you, and more importantly, a positive one.
