I applied for a citi simplicity on 2/16/17 and was instantly approved. I then applied for the aadvantage card the same day and then again 4 days later and was denied. I didnt know till after i had applied that citi doesnt let you apply for more then 1 card in a 8 day period. Do i have to wait 8 days from when i was approved or do i have to wait 8 days from the last application i did? I asked the citi reps and they both had no idea what i was talking about. The not approved letter for the citi aadvantage card said i had submitted multiple applications and that was the reason fot denial. I cant get a answer out of citi so if anyone knows please let me know. Thanks
