Citibank wants husband's documentation sent in.

Citi bank asked for a pay stub, utility bill as well as his phone bill. Any ideas why they need to verify so much? Do you think it's worth the trouble to do this? They want it mailed in as well.

Sounds like verification to me for an approval

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

After I typed this, I realized this is true.. My Amex card they wanted verification of tax return. I sent it in and got an approval. So we'll give it a try. I'll update just in case someone else runs into this.

At least they didn't ask for a 4506-T form.
