Code verification

Was just approved for the Marvel card but had to call as I apped a week ago and havent heard back yet. So I called customer service and they want my cell to send a code to. I have 2 cells and the first number I gave her she said cant be verified. Verified for what? What is that process about and what does it prove to them, as after we did that my app went through?

Re: Code verification

It sounds like it literally is for verification purposes, just to make sure everything is legit. It might be just extra protection against fraud. I think I've seen this a lot lately on here, even with different lenders.

Re: Code verification

Yes but the number I gave them(my main cell) they told me cant be verified. Then the second number could be verified even though that was not the on on the app. And they simply sent me a text with a code. Not quite sure how that proves I am me. lol
