Comenity CLI HP/SP Data Points

To make matters worse - yesterday I hit the CLI button on VS, Wayfair and Overstock and ALL were a HP.

They have always been a SP.  Looks like they changed everything over to HP, including CLI.  At lease for me they did.

Just requested CLIs last week, so here's my data for what it's worth. Haven't run into a HP CLI request yet.

Ok here is a weird one. This was about a month ago. I keep my reports locked.

I hit the CLI button for my Overstock card. Approved.

5 minutes later I hit the CLI button for J.Crew and received the 7-10 day message. A week later I get the letter in the mail and it said the reason for denial is that they could not access my credit report. 😐 They soft pulled Overstock through the lock but tried to HP me for J.Crew and could not. I’m happy I had the lock on. I don’t need HP CLI for store cards.

Oddly My spouses VS card started at just $250.00, this was in August 2018. Since that time I requested a CLI twice back to back the same night.
It went from $250.00 to $750.00 and right after a few seconds later was approved for $1,250.00 another increase of $500.00.
However it appears that people have really great results from Comenity cards, or great results from Synchrony.
I on the other hand keep getting denied for all Comenity credit lines, have been denied 100% of the time.
While I fair better with Syncrony, my spouse often gets declined for the same cards.

I just hit the Luv button today for Ashley Stewart. Got the credit limit updated from $2,750 to $3,000. Went over to my kingsize Platinum card and did the same and went from $1450 to $1850. 2 mins later I got one hard pull alert on Equifax from “Comenity Bank/suebre”. I have no idea which one that’s for. I’ll update if I get a 2nd one.

I think earlier this month I tried for a cli and got a hard pull on EQ. I try almost monthly and each time got nothing. I don't want to keep trying for hard pulls.
